Mango Day

From mango fun and creativity to kindness and sharing, our little Salwanians celebrated National Mango Day with joy and purpose!

Salwan Montessori School celebrated National Mango Day on 22nd July with great enthusiasm and joyful learning. Our little Salwanians explored the fascinating diversity of the "King of Fruits" by bringing different varieties of mangoes, creating a vibrant and colourful display. The celebration featured a special assembly with a lively dance by the children and a delightful mango-themed story enactment by the teachers. Young learners also enjoyed creating mango headgear and participating in fun art activities that sparked their creativity. The celebration concluded with a meaningful act of giving as the collected mangoes were donated to underprivileged children, reinforcing the values of sharing, kindness, and empathy while contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger. A day filled with learning, creativity, compassion, and the joy of giving!
